MISCELLANEOUS NOTES:
George Tickner's name has been resurfacing a lot lately, mostly in connection with Ross Valory's Hive, a private studio in Northern California. Often referred to as Journey's "forgotten member", Tickner's role in the early formation of the band is being revisited lately due to the resurgence of Neal Schon and Ross Valory's importance in the decision-making process of the band. Tickner's name has been mentioned in recent interviews with both Ross Valory (The Ask Journey Forum of Back Talk, January 2002) and Neal Schon (Classic Rock Revisited, March 2002). There is speculation that Mr. Tickner may make a guest appearance with his former band-mates, either in a new studio track, live on the road, or at a potential thirtieth reunion of the original Journey in December, 2003.
