Favorite Journey Album:
Tie between Infinity and Arrival. I've heard Anytime after Feeling That Way so many times until it seems like one song to me rather than two, however, Arrival was my introduction to Steve Augeri.

Favorite Journey Lead Singer:
Steve Perry will always be a part of Journey history to me but I will have to say Steve Augeri

What I think of Arrival:
Love it!

Favorite Song on Arrival:
Kiss me Softly and Loved By You and since I'm a huge Jack Blades fan, I love Higher Place because Jack co-wrote it.

List of Attended Journey Concerts:
  • 1985 in St. Louis, MO at the former St. Louis Checkerdome (it's since been torn down) from the 5th row (the closest I've ever been to Steve Perry).
  • July 1999 St. Louis, Riverport Amphitheatre
  • July 2002 - Toledo, Oh (downtown on the waterfront)
  • June 20, 2003 - Classic Rock's Main Event - Savvis Center, St. Louis, MO
  • July 18, 2003 - Loopfest, Chicago, IL

    What I've eaten/drank at a Journey concert:
Of course I can't remember what I had in 1985 except that it was right after graduating high school so probably lots of alcohol, lol, but I remember having a beer at the St. Louis show (both of them) and because the show in Toledo was so hot, I do remember having a frozen lemonade. I'm sure at loopfest it was just water.

    My Likes:
  • Reading
  • Music - more specifically Journey, Styx, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Theory of a Deadman
  • Web Design (I love the creativity of it)
  • Writing

    My motto:
Wherever you go, there you are!

    Movies:
I loved the Harry Potter and Lord of the Ring movies.

    Authors:
  • Laurall K. Hamilton (local St. Louis author)
  • James Patterson
  • Jackie Collins
  • Barbara Delinsky
  • Sandra Brown
  • For Horror, Edward Lee, Bentley Little and Richard Laymon

    My Journey Bio:
I've been a Journey fan since the early 80's. Back then we were going to everything that came into St. Louis and the best seats that we ever had at that time was for Journey and those were 5th row. I was really a huge Steve Perry fan. I can remember specifically at that concert, looking up and thinking "OMG, there's Steve Perry!". Because of that, I found it hard to imagine Steve Augeri doing as good of a job as I had heard so after Steve Perry left, I stopped going. Then a friend offered me 5th row tickets to see Journey at Riverport Amphitheatre (now UMB Bank Pavilion) in St. Louis in 1999. I thought with such good seats why not. Steve Augeri totally won me over. The biggest thing that I love about him, apart from his talent, is that he's so humble and he so loves doing what he's doing and he's so obviously appreciative of it. I get the impression that he had given up on being in the music business so when it finally did happen, he was just so happy until I think he's still thanking people. Now I'm very involved in the Journey online communities but most specifically the Steve A communities.
